Re: Affordable homes to be constructed in Summit.

Morris Habitat for Humanity is seeking low income applicants for one 2-bedroom condominium to be built at 39 Morris Ave in Summit, NJ. The unit will be sold at $97,931.

The maximum income limit ranges are $42,240-$52,740 and is based on the number of occupants.

Applicants will be evaluated based on their income level, credit score of 600 or better, debt to income ratio of 40% or lower among other criteria. Qualified applicants will be assigned a number and the home owners will be selected via lottery.

In order to submit an application attendance at an orientation session is mandatory.

The orientation date is:      

Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 6:00 PM, presented in both English and Spanish.

The orientation will be held at the Senior Building at 12 Chestnut Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901

The deadline for submission of complete application packets to the Morris Habitat office location is January 31, 2011. There is a $20.00 processing fee for the application in cash or money order only. The administrative agent for this COAH project is Carolyn Haraksin, Program Services Coordinator for Morris Habitat for Humanity, 102 Iron Mountain Road, Suite H.  Mine Hill, NJ 07803. Applications are available online at www.morrishabitat.org, and at the office in Mine Hill for all who attend orientation.
