Applicants must have an income that does not exdeed the Department of Community Affairs guidelines.

Age Requirements

62 years of age or older (at least one of a couple must be 62 years of age).

Under 62 years of age with a disability that is of indefinite and continuous duration, as well as a substantial impediment to the peson’s physical independence requiring that person to live in a barrier–free unit. There are ten such units at Lounsberry Meadows.

Other Requirements

Applicants must be able to function independently in an apartment and must be of such health of body and mind that they do not require special facilities other than a barrier–free unit or nursing care of more than a limited nature.

Applicants must have a satisfactory financial arrangement for meeting the monthly rent.

Residents are expected to make an honest effort to be agreeable to other residents and employees, and to cooperate with Management in maintaining accord and harmony at all times.
