TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE
Long Hill Township has a Township Committee form of government. Five members of the Township Committee are elected at large for staggered three-year terms. The Township Committee organizes annually during the first week in January at which time it elects a Mayor and Deputy Mayor from among the five members. The Mayor presides at meetings of the Township Committee and performs such other duties as the Township Committee or State law prescribe.
The Township Committee meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Public meetings begin at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall. Please refer to the township calendar for specific dates and times. Township Committee meetings are broadcast live on Long Hill Television on Comcast channel 25 and Verizon channel 37. Replays of the meeting are broadcast the week of the live meeting as follows: 7:30 pm Thursday, 9:00 am Friday, 12:00 pm Saturday and 8:30 am Sunday.

Township Committee minutes are posted online after approval. Complete minutes are available at Town Hall and the Library. You may purchase audio recordings and DVD's of any meeting of the Township Committee. Please contact Town Hall for price and format.
