BICYCLE UNITS

The Long Hill FAS deploys a Bicycle EMS Team at many public events in town.  The bicycles are used in situations where the service area is congested (ex: the Street Fair) or spread over a large area (ex: the bicycles ride with the racers in the 2002 5K Run.)

The bikes were donated to the squad in the Summer of 2001 by the Stirling Elks Lodge.
 

The two bicycles operate as a team, and between them, carry (small amounts of) nearly all of the same equipment as one of our ambulances:
